| I just received a report on my desk that another 117 babies have been saved from abortion with the help of our Sidewalk Advocates. And I was stunned to realize that with the addition of these precious lives, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has reached the incredible milestone of 25,000 BABIES SAVED since our founding in 2014 … to God be the Glory!! In our 11 years, Sidewalk Advocates for Life has trained thousands of individuals to become ambassadors for life outside their local abortion or abortion-referral facility, offering real help and hope to the women and families they encounter there. These dedicated volunteers regularly share the results of their outreach with SAFL’s National Team, who record the total number of lives saved throughout the U.S., as well as in Mexico and Colombia. Honestly, I don’t know how to even process this incredible moment. But this milestone isn’t exactly a surprise. Because we know that with God, all things are possible. And what a gift He has given us to realize on this side of Heaven that more than 25,000 children are alive and thriving today because we showed up on the sidewalk to offer His love. That’s an entire stadium of babies and families saved from abortion. When I shared that thought with our National Team, one of our Programs team members, Elizabeth, sent me this to help visualize this unbelievable victory… ![]() |
| This is the 02 Arena in London that seats 20,000 people. How amazing to think that we’ve filled more than the seats in this stadium, so to speak, with these precious lives saved. Over the years, I have been privileged to hold many of the babies whose mothers chose life through God’s grace – and thanks to loving, prayerful Sidewalk Advocates who offered the support and local resources those women needed. I have heard from countless moms how thankful they are that there was a Sidewalk Advocate there for them that day. It is nothing short of an honor to be doing this work each and every day. We are so incredibly grateful to everyone who has walked this journey with us thus far, including those who’ve given their time on the sidewalk, who’ve offered up prayers for our Advocates and those they serve, and who’ve donate to support our mission to save lives and end abortion. We could not do what we do without our incredible community of volunteers and supporters! Emboldened by this victory and in the model of the persistent widow who would not give up until justice was served (Luke 18:1-8), we will continue to pray, to advocate, to love without ceasing. And like the widow, we will not give up until every life is treated justly, as a beautiful, irreplaceable gift from our Lord. (Photo credit: Elizabeth Weston) |
